Ran out of long form content to have on while working and grinding League, so I'm watching the GenoSamuel Chris-Chan doc again. Boom, 40+ hours I don't have to worry about finding background noise that can be safely tuned in-and-out of at will.
But something that's hit me this time around that for some reason didn't last time, is that 00s Chris would have been absolutely one-shot by generative AI.
All of the trolling sagas, at their core, involved convincing Chris either that someone is a Boyfriend Free Girl or some sort of business partner, *or* that something is happening that he must act upon.
So imagine if someone spent a minute or two making "Shigeru Miyamoto holding a Sonichu plushie standing outside Chris' house" to convince him that Miyamoto was waiting for him. Or, "Chris robbed a bank and curse-ye-ha-me-ha'd the teller" to convince him he was about to get arrested.
