Real talk, I think I have a stronger claim to lain-ness than a lot that identify with lain. Given that the first time I was compared to lain was by someone else, and that I'd never seen Serial Experiments Lain (Still haven't but I'd like to sometime). I'm sure some can one-up me pretty handily but it was never my goal to imitate lain. :\
And since halfway through cleaning up my apartment for a friend to come over (the one who said I was "like lain" btw) the place looks like this. Look at that lack of cable management, that lack of organization. See how there are no free surfaces to work on so I've been doing soldering and oscilloscope probing on the floor.
