@haematophage @dot the west is where the division between straight/not-straight and male/female/trans is at its strongest, because the west puts so much effort into putting “straight” and “male” (and “cis”) on a pedestal, and turning it into a rigid Category above everything else

“legally recognized and accepted” wouldnt exist in societies where its not treated as lesser by default, or a world where its not seen as an inherently different existence than everything else
