so anyway since disabling the gemini crap, my inbox no longer has folders and it means every single email, of which I apparently receive many, now lights up my phone with a notification every 5 to 10 minutes

And the "but millions of people are using it!" statement becomes even more ridiculous in light of fact that Google literally punishes people who don't. Because that's what this is: a punishment. My inbox was already annoying; now I'm just half tempted to abandon reading it entirely.
