Shar(yna)Tran/Shark(aeopteryx)Malwarebytes issued a correction on the "Gmail smart features" article but: One of the reasons I was confused is bc I've had them turned off for years anyway, bc I don't want Gmail to do those things with or without "genAI", and 2) just bc it's not in Google's documentation that the data is being used for training, and even if it's not *right now*, Google don't appear to have actively denied that they will & there's no guarantee it won't be used for that in the feature.
