welp, no sooner did my amex bonus hit than i went ahead and redeemed it. i've been eyeing this lie-flat business class turkish flight from jfk to singapore. this exact flight costs $4845 if i were to book it in cash, and i did it in 87,500 points (plus 65 usd in fees). given that i earned 100,000 points with my sign-up bonus, i still have some time to see if i can snag a premium economy nonstop flight on singapore air back to jfk that costs about 88k miles (since i have 30k miles on there from my previous travels) with the sign-up bonuses for other amex cards. pretty insane redemption value, and i'm DEFINITELY going to enjoy my bed in the sky on such a long journey
