I need the hive brain opinions. I tried to speak to the NABS group and they don't seem to like to respond to me. Where I see large conversations with other students. So I'm practically given up on them. A few weeks ago most of you know that I complained about a professor asking if I would be comfortable using ChatGPT. Where my response was that I was not comfortable. She has now looped in Accessibility and Accessibility just sent out an email asking me to try ChatGPT to create images and see if it is satisfactory to me and then they will upgrade me to the premium if it works. Apparently Accessibility also believes that this is a perfectly valid method to reach the core values of the course. I am not comfortable at all using an AI service to create an image. This is very much bullshit on why they are suggesting it in the first place. I don't know how to say it politely back to them though. I was wondering if others have some polite ways to say that I am not comfortable using it and I have already suggested multiple ways to use a reasonable accommodation that the professor has turned down. I do not know what to do now. I have suggested AIRA, I have suggested someone being there with me to operate the system after I tell them what to do, or using the accessible platforms that I have learned about and them telling me what button to press to make it look good and get the results I want. All of these have been shut down. Since they do not comply to the core values of the course of me learning how to actually use the platform myself and creating images related to an emergency action plan, floor plan, brochures, and other related fitness facility requirements.
