Then we got on a tram ride to the Seven Falls trail head, and hiked as far as the first river crossing, of which there were several. This involved clambering across on rocks, and we decided that was a good place to turn around. The hike to the falls was 6 miles round trip over very uneven and rocky terrain, so we had already decided not to try the whole thing.
