Wife: you can't put that glass bottle in the recycling because it had olive oil in it.

Me: like all the plastics and metal cans you wash before recycling?

Me: washes bottle and puts out to recycling. Right next to the communal bins full of unwashed coffee cans and soft drink bottles that had sugar, oils milka etc in them....
