After this, it starts having problems, that seem to come from its data model.I'm tired of seeing instances run by my peers (housing some of the greatest and coolest and friendliest communities I know, like Inidiefedi, or Udongein, or Expired Mentality) just die out of nowhere, out of the blue, out of thin air.We NEED to fix Pleroma, somehow, or develop an alternative that has 1:1 feature parity, but the data storage scheme of which isn't a ticking time bomb. After reaching a critical point, query time goes to the moon and the instance became completely unusable. The only workarounds are vacuum the database, rebuild the index, and upgrade the hardware, but only with limited effectiveness.
