Just finished reading 「自生の夢」 by飛浩隆, and what a book it was!

A challenging reading for someone learning the language for sure, but at the same time very rewarding in terms of ideas and inspiration that it gave me.

It is a collection of interconnected short stories, exploring the nature of consciousness and our connection with the natural languages. To think that each story predates LLMs by many years and yet arrives at the very same flaws (and more) that we discuss now! An absolute masterpiece!
