#DNS isn't the problem. DNS is almost never the actual problem. DNS is incredibly stable.

A resource failing to resolve because it's record was incorrectly changed or removed is not a failure of DNS. It is the failure of whatever made the change.

DNS didn't fail today for #AWS, a record got changed somehow and DNS obeyed.

I hate the, "It's always DNS," trope because it reveals a deep misunderstanding off how DNS works and what it actually does.

The mental gymnastics people will make to blame DNS for everything drive me fucking crazy.
