It was good, not great, not bad. Soft sci-fi, not hard. The modern writing made it smooth to read and the large time spans and multiple perspectives keep the book compelling without dwelling too long in a single place. Mysteries were explained, the ending was reasonable.
I think exub1a's The Fifth Science is better despite it being a short story anthology collection.
No, I've never seen his YouTube channel and I kind of want to keep it that way.
