Things weren’t doing so hot around this time last year so I’m delighted to say I had a really good birthday today. I got to spend time with friends and not worry about all of the shit that’s behind me. Things aren’t perfect. They might not be perfect for a while, but I’m alive and I know that being happy is ultimately a choice I have to make for myself and I’m willing to take as many steps as I need to find peace eventually :)
