i'm trying to troubleshoot two issues with my T480 that popped up at the same time, a couple days ago:

• it sometimes won't wake up from suspend, especially after being transported
• even if not being moved, it randomly crashes and spews garbage onto the screen (and any external screen that might be connected). (although i'm suspecting it's not that random after all, it happened while typing at least twice)
• in both cases it will boot just fine after holding down the power button

i'm suspecting some RAM connection issue, but how would i reliably reproduce this? yanking out a RAM stick under power doesn't seem like a good idea…
