      "But we can just move to Mars." This seems to be the thinking of a lot of wealthy people, and this shows that our system rewards stupid people. Mars is smaller than Earth. Because of this, it does not have a molten core. It is solid rock. Because it doesn't have a molten core, there is no iron core rotating at a slightly different rate, which means there is no magnetic field protecting the atmosphere from solar winds. 1/3
