Astonishing! Someone on here suggested I entice tree frogs onto my pergola to eat the spiders that made all those webs this weekend. I explained that sadly we do not have tree frogs in the UK. Then what should I come across today, but a video from a group called Celtic Rewilding explaining that tree frogs are native to Britain but they became extinct at least in part due to their popularity in folk medicine.

And now they are being reintroduced! This makes me very happy 😃
