    Korean joke from today

    My korean friend is translating german children books into korean. And found the sentence "we are nearly friends" (wir sind fast Freunde) which makes a lot of sense in German but doesn't in korean. In Korean you either are friends or not, in German becoming friends is a process. If you want to say in Korean "let's be friends' you say "밥을 먹자" Let's eat rice/ Let's eat together.
    So i suggested as a translation "let us got eat together in the future"
