The front door looked everything but magical, and certainly not a city café's entrance.

Yet inside was a café, and books, and people at computers. There was the stair, which I climbed. I pushed the swing door to what I thought would be a terrace.

Iinstead I saw a mountain and a lake and countryside as far as I could see.
