@nyanide @munir wifi doesn't go "up" unless the radials are horizontal.
vertical antennas (which are usually quarter wave verticals) are dipoles with one leg going up, and instead of the other leg going down, the bottom leg is smooshed flat into a ground plane. Vertical antennas cut to the band they operate on radiate horizontally, in a shape like an infinity sign with the waist part on the antenna. they have *very* deep nulls straight up, straight down, and about 30 degrees from there.
