I've recently decided, on a whim, that I will learn Japanese.

I'm 0% fluent. I'm starting by learning it the way children learn to speak.

So I'm watching tons of Japanese cartoons. This one is Dr. Slump & Arale-Chan from the 1980s. A classic.

I watch without subtitles, while I work - e.g. Libreboot machines. Way less distracting than my other hobby, namely drawing.

This is episode 11. I actually understand the plot. I know what they're saying. I've already begun recognising key sounds/words.
