I'm shocked. Shocked I tell you.
Microsoft sold Office 365/OneDrive to my employer with "Unlimited Data!" but now suddenly it's $5,000/month for each 10TB of storage used over 400TB. This will end up costing the organization ~$400k/year (and the data grows 20TB every month).
This is classic "Cloud" shit - they get you hooked with free shit and then charge a fortune for it.
Also, I figure MS was happy for all the data to run their LLMs against and now don't want to store it anymore.
