OK, at a loss. Suggestions welcome.

I put a few few bits in a bag, tools, wire cutters, that sort of stuff.

Used them today.

Came home, and put back stuff.

And in the bag is this.

I have zero idea where this comes from - nothing I was working on - nothing venue related (pub), nothing I have from home.

I seriously have no clue what this spring is for or where it came from,
