GNOMEOn August 15, 1997, @Migueldeicaza announced the start of GNOME on the GTK mailing list¹. Twenty-eight years later a lot has changed, but we continue to develop and iterate on “a free and complete set of user friendly applications and desktop tools… based entirely on free software.”
