grandma called me and while talking about stuff complained that her old usb mouse on laptop works terrible and then the following dialogue happened, i want to share it:

me: did you try the touchpad?
her: what touchpad?
me: look closely, there is a square area right below your keyboard
her: . . . okay i can see that, what do i do?
me: try to draw over it with your finger, does anything happen on the screen?
her: . . . . . WOW!!! WOOOOOW!!!!! IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THERE?! Why nobody told me about it before?! SUCH TECHNOLOGY! HOW DOES IT EVEN WORK?! THANK YOU!
