The things you know or believe? At a large enough scale that's just cosmic randomness, friend. You happened to exist in circumstances that allowed you to be able to learn a lesson.

Call me a nihilist (many have) but It doesn't make sense to feel superior to anyone over that.

It's something I remind myself of often, but also something I think a *lotta* other opinionated folk need to remember too.

It's the root cause of so much over-the-top moralizing.
