So my mobile UHF/VHF radio in my car does not have memory groups, and I made the mistake of putting in each repeater’s name along my route as it’s call sign, organized alphabetically. 😂 needless to say I did not call CQ on any repeaters on my trip partway down and back up the coast, as I had no idea which repeaters were local to where I was. It’s also unclear if the sources I used listed the correct tones, as I could not key up some of the repeaters I could hear doing IDs.
