They didn't react how the walls are moving.
Also, not even Spock speculated that the doors are "portals" and if they step through it something will definitely happen?
Was the light, the background, the moving walls, all for the audience only? And the characters were only seeing a "room" and total darkness around them?
And even if that is, why did Spock not say anything about the doorways? Not a theory? I expected him to at least say it's a portal.
LOL. Did the special effects team mess things up? There wasn't supposed to be moving walls and all that? 😝😅
