    @mattmaison my guess(?) is it's at least somewhat due to Google ruining "good" search over the last several years

    It's now so downright miserable and they've added so much friction to get basic information that most people are willing to now accept "usually fact adjacent" information simply to keep from having to waste 20x time to dig through pages of ads and even less useful AI generated web static content 🤷
