Went blackberries picking after work & got enough to make a pie!
But what about your pre-diabetes? You ask. I haven't seen the Nutritionist yet so this is my best guess. I'll go easy on the sugar, make a whole wheat bottom shell and make a whole wheat with oatmeal crumble top, & sprinkle in oatmeal and brown rice protein as thickener in the pie, have a glass of oatmilk w/it & have it after having chicken breast & zucchini from the garden for dinner first. I think that ought to mitigate it a bit.
