Word of advice: if you were born between 1957-1969, you should automatically ask for a measles titre test the next time you have a physical. The immunity from the measles vaccine given during that time period has most likely waned. I had to get the updated MMR (Mumps-Measles-Rubella) shot in 2007 in order to matriculate in a grad program requiring proof of a mumps vaccine. Because of that, my measles immunity is now good.
