I played through some of Sonic Unleashed again and it wasn't that good. It WASN'T just the night stages making it SUCK ASS but that was a big part of it and they're even worse than I remember them.

The day stages started off good and there are some extremely good ones. Rooftop Run is on par with City Escape and Windmill Isle is a good starter stage. Afterwards every single stage massively falls off in memorability and progressively gets more and more obnoxious to play culminating in the ISLAND LEVEL WHERE THE ENTIRE FUCKING LEVEL IS A GIANT DEATH TRAP I HATE WATER

The final boss is incredibly boring but has one of the best final boss themes in the series but that DFUCKING GOBLIN MONGOLID CHIP RETARD FUCKS IT UP AND RUINS IT BY DOING WEIRD MOANS AND TALKING DURING IT
