So basically the US is supplying Ukrainian forces with HIMARS rocket launchers and directing the Ukrainians to use them to shell the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. The US knows that the station generates power which regulates the cooling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and disrupting the cooling of the reactor could cause it to melt down.

The US is trying to cause another Chernobyl disaster in a desperate and psychotic attempt to keep from losing this war to Russia, and this could very well be the point where Russia finally abandons the restraint that it has shown toward the US for the past 8 years.
