I kinda want a DM that just sets a timer on the table and calls it the Bullshit Timer set for 10 min. When the party devolves into bullshit, your timer starts. At the end of 10 min, Something is going to happen that forces the party to move on in some way (unless you've actually decided to be taking a break for bathroom or snacks or something). Whether a random encounter or the ambush you were trying to set up - a scout spots you and the alarm goes off, or the guards notice your wanted photo from the last town you murderhobo'd or whatever. Make wasting too much time on bullshittery have in game consequences.
