@Zettour @teto @GentlemanRapist The rate of home ownership is even lower than these figures suggest because they include homes that are mortgaged to the bank (sometimes multiple times) and everybody mortgages property nowadays.

If they were to only include people who actually own property outright in the real sense of the word "own", the percentages would probably be in the single digits.
