@Paultron-3030 @professionalbigot69 In Australia one of the conditions of getting welfare is you applied for X amount of jobs per fortnight.
There could be guys spending months or years on welfare meeting those conditions who have unknowingly not applied for one actual job.
So here there would even be a financial incentive for the government to investigate and prohibit this.
