Moss Wizard@sumisu3 @skinnylatte I saw Tampopo in theaters when it arrived in the US, and the existence of omurice blew my mind. The fact that it was so common a child would ask for it. I fell out of touch with Japanese cinema/TV in the late 90s, so when Asian cooking shows started showing up on Netflix 20+ years later, it blew my mind a second time—what do you mean omurice has been a standard food for decades of children??
