    There are myriad reasons the ALPRs are bad news. Even beyond ICE having access to them. They’re primed for mass surveillance.

    1. They track movements and store live location data indefinitely.
    2. The data is publicly-accessible. This has led to wrongful arrests, profiling, and cops stalking their ex-partners.
    3. Their system hasn’t yielded any meaningful prevention, reduction, or solving of crimes.
