@prettygood @vic If you need only certs then it's fine (although still Python), but when you need to automate things around cert renewal, the hook system is a barely documented clusterfuck. I hated it so much when I was using it.

The more normal cron approach with manually specifying what cert should be renewed and then running scripts after that finishes is much more simple and maintanable.
