So I'm a little confused by the anti-systemd crowd. If you want to be better than systemd, why is none of the alternatives doing user service management? 🙃

That sounds like the obvious thing to implement, and yet people rather trash talk gnome for _not wanting to do user service management_ themselves, because it's a huge PITA to do properly and systemd gives it to you for free...
