M. Grégoire@evan Perhaps you've forgotten the 1995 referendum campaign? The 1998 Québec election in which the Liberals won more votes than the PQ, setting the stage for Lucien Bouchard's resignation? The defeat of the PQ in 2003? I think his premiership was fairly successful as well.
As to the fundraising, it's hard to say what the truth of the matter was. Certainly nothing was proven about Mr. Charest himself, despite the investigations.
