Maryland State Police say the body of a child was found around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Cecil County.

"At 1:45 today, the Maryland State Police homicide unit located what appears to be human remains consistent with that of a child," a spokesperson said.

It's not yet known if the body is that of Nola Dinkins. Police say they are awaiting positive identification.
