This bit of the alleyway has now been taken over by my brother after my abortive attempt to turn it into wildflower meadow.
Instead, he's actually spent some money and filled it with prairie plants and grasses. It's still a bit sparse as its only just been planted, but we'll see how it pans out nest year.
