Harvey Milk signed up to serve a country that deprived him of his liberty. He served admirably in the Korean War on the USS Kittiwake, a submarine rescue vessell.

A diving officer in the war, then a diving instructor, lieutenant, he saved lives.

For his service, our country threatened to court martial him for being gay, so he resigned. Later assassinated by a homophobe who said too many twinkies made him do it.

To spit on his grave this way...
