@flexghost a hughschool friend once bought a box of singles at a yard sale. They were all tv show themes, with a twist. It sounded pretty close, but then there would be a gap for a ridiculous keyboard solo. Mix tapes would always have one of these in random places. The keyboard sound was a full on 70s whaaa whaaa nonsense, but with the confidence of 80s hairband. I still have these solos echoing through my head.
