From WSET 13 Lynchburg: Forecast
This morning we're seeing our last heavy rainfall, but following the sunrise we're mostly done with the rain. A few showers or storms are possible this afternoon, but we're not likely to see alot of them pop up. We may see an inch or two of rain before it slows down heading into Wednesday evening. Highs will be chilly Wednesday, but not quite as cool as Tuesday. We'll climb to the upper 60s across most of the area.
It's still more of the same tonight as lows drop to the mid 50s, and only a few isolated showers stick around early.
We'll see a few more isolated showers on and off to end the week as well. With warmer temperatures trying to make their way back in as we climb to the upper 70s. Thursday should be drier, but we may still see a shower or storm heading into the afternoon.
Friday is looking wet again, with showers likely throughout the day and bringing another half inch or more of rain. Highs will still be in the mid 70s with warmer weather by Sunday.
The 80s will be back in the forecast by the weekend, with most of the rain gone for a while. We should see sunny skies to start the next week too!
Umbrellas if you're up early! -Thomas
