Trump is trying to end US democracy. One provision in Trump’s new “Big beautiful bill” says that when Trump breaks the law, courts can no longer enforce the law by making US Marshalls serve him a contempt of court order, UNLESS Trump’s government decides to finance this work first.

In other words: Trump decides if Trump can be held accountable for breaking the law. This will effectively make Trump an untouchable King.

Let’s hope this does not pass the Senate.
