JoThese trees are the remnants of the old turnpike road. Stuart can recall there being trees both sides but they are very old and have slowly toppled over the course of time. The rise to the right is where the roman road was and to the left is the railway line. It must have been a busy place for 1000s of years but now is a quiet back water. #Wales
