hermlonthat young cashier who always chats me up asked me whether I was learning a craft or something, and was impressed when I told him I study computer science. idk, it's easy to forget not everyone my age is studying, when literally everyone my age I interact with regularly is doing so. maybe it would be interesting to do a reality check, but I have no idea where to go to meet "regular" people my age.
