     @lain christ taught his followers that it is righteous to suffer under unjust laws while holding to your principles. he never said to overthrow the system or kill your oppressors, but to refuse to obey man's law if they are not in accordance with god's law, and to accept the consequences thereof, even if it should mean death or torture.
